The fold down mechanism of the Summer Infant bed guard is situated at the base of the bed guard.  Therefore if you are trying to fit the bed guard on to a cot bed with a sunk matress and less than 2 inches of space between the mattress and the bed frame the bed guard may not work.

Suitable for mattresses:  Length 173cm - 214cm, width 76cm - 157cm

This bedrail will fit beds where the mattress sits directly on the bed base. This bed rail will not fit beds where the mattress sinks into the frame of the base.

Great product, easy to put up. Looks good too! The only thing I've found is the buttons are very stiff to put the guard down. Other than that a great service and fast delivery
