Slam Stoppers are door safety products which are designed to stop doors slamming on little fingers.  Slam stoppers traditionallly are foam grips which can be installed on the side or top of household doors; out of the reach of young children; which prevent a door slamming all the way shut.  Recent designs in slam stoppers come in a variety of shapes and forms.  Some slam stoppers can be installed under doors to prevent the door moving, other slam stoppers allow the door to be shut, but only if closed slowly, therefore preventing a door being slammed.
