Respisense nappy baby monitor does not rely on pads below the sleeping area; it simply clips onto the waistband of your baby's nappy then quietly and unobtrusively monitors baby's breathing efforts while asleep. It triggers an alarm if your baby stops or appears to stop breathing.

How it Works

• Green light marked ‘ ZZZ ’ flashes while rhythmic movement is detected, usually while baby is at rest
• Yellow light marked ‘ ... ’ flashes when general movement is detected, usually while baby is awake and active
• Orange light flashes repeatedly while the TummyTickle tactile stimulator is active or the alarm is sounding
• Red light flashes when a system error is detected or the battery is nearing the end of its useful life
• The primary alarm (fast warbling tone) will sound if no movement has been detected for a total of 20 consecutive seconds
• The secondary alarm (slow warbling tone) will sound if the tactile stimulator has been activated 3 times but movement resumed every time within 5 seconds of the stimulation

How to Fit the Monitor

• To ensure reliable operation verify that baby’ s diaper is fitted snugly and that it is large enough to allow the top edge of the monitor to be close to level with baby’ s navel
• Ensure that the sensor area of the monitor remains in good contact with baby’ s tummy throughout the monitoring period
