How the Opening Mechanism Works

• Step on the pedal to depress the lock
• Once the lock is depressed, it waits in an unlocked position (marked by the green, 'ready to open', indicator)
• Nudge the gate with your knee or hip to open and walk through
• As you become clear of the gate, the door will be drawn by magnets to automatically close
• When closed, the gate will show the red indicator.

Additional extensions can be added to this gate which will allow you to fit this gate in a wider space.

How to measure for your gate;

To ensure you buy the right gate and extension combination, you will need to take two measurements.

1.   Floor level - Measure the space to be filled at floor level.  This may be wall to wall, skirting board to skirting board, etc

2.   Top of Gate - Measure the space to be filled 75cm above floor level.

Both of the measurements taken (Floor Level and Top of Gate), must fit within the same width range given in the table below.

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE PURCHASING TWO EXTENSIONS, YOU WILL BE SENT TWO SINGLE EXTENSIONS TO FIT ONE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE GATE, AS PER THE GATE FITTING INSTRUCTIONS.

I was looking for a gate like this when we had our first child. I've only had it a week and already you can see the advantages to a traditional gate. The opening mechanism took about three uses to work out and after that its simple.
For me it is 100% worth the little extra money.
