Window Blind Safe Cord Winder

The window blind safe fixes to the wall using the 3 screws and fixings included inthe pack.

Easy six steps for installation and use:

• Step 1 Fix to wall at height you can reach but out of reach of children.  Place as near to top of blind as possible.
• Step 2 Attach Cord or Chain
• Step 3 Rotate clockwise to stow cord or chain safely away
• Step 4 Step 5 Lift or lower blind to required height
• Step 6 Set blind to required height and lock again by pushing lock closed.  Rewind to take up cord or chain

The Window Blind Safe is suitable for use with Venetian, vertical, roll-up or roman blinds.  Please see image gallery for examples of use with each form of blind

• WindowBlindSafe will store up to 3 metres of 4 strand operating cord and 2metres of chain. This means that a blind with a drop (top of blind to longest drop) of 2.1 metres will be safely stored

• A simple U-shaped tongue on the internal surface of the barrel allows the cord or chain to be attached easily and once the barrel is rotated clockwise the cord or chain is locked in position.

• The device is the only product to meet the stringent WindowBlindSafe Child-Resistant locking mechanism test and the only one to bear the coveted seal of approval

For Pull cords and chains - 

• Stores and locks cords and chains that operate your window blinds in a safe manner by allowing you to coil them onto a central barrel. Simply screw to wall with wall plugs and and screws provided, attach the cord or chain and turn the barrel clockwise until all the cord or chain is hidden and fully coiled.

For Internal operating cords in Venetian blinds -

• Works in conjunction with above and consists of two industrial Velcro pads or Sellotape Hook & Loop pads 20mmx20mm or larger available from most DIY stores (not supplied by us). Attach to window ledge or wall and bottom rail of Venetian blind. When blind is dropped, pads lock together and secure bottom rail preventing children from pulling internal cords and creating loop.
