When erecting the travel cot:

• Push the base plate in the middle of the cot three quarters of the way down, but NOT all the way down
• Straighten the two side panels until you hear them click into place
• Straighten the two end panels until you hear them click into place
• Push the base plate in the middle all the way down until it clicks into place
