This can cause accidents because they can enter places, even within their own home, which are not child friendly. This can result in injuries, sometimes even fatalities. Child proofing the house should be made one of the most important responsibilities of a conscientious parent or guardian. You must ensure that your home is made child-safe to ensure that your little one can play safely. Child safety can be achieved through use of child safety products and other baby safety equipment.
A stair gate is a must have piece of baby safety equipment for any house that is home to children. As all parents will know, as soon as your child begins to crawl, the house becomes a playground full of new and exciting places for them to explore.
I’m sure all parents will agree that keeping your child safe is of upmost importance. Surprisingly a vast amount of accidents involving children happen in their own home, this could be due to a more relaxed approach to safety compared to that outside of the home or simply a lack of child safety products in some households.
A stair gate is a safety must when your little angel starts to become more mobile. You’ll find that even a baby that has just learnt to crawl will manage to get into mischief in seemingly safe places. The main use for a stair gate is of course protecting your child from trips or falls around the stair area however in recent years stair gates have also become known as safety gates and are increasingly popular in kitchens and on summer doors.
Ok, so the pride of your little angel starting to crawl or taking their first step has been replaced with the realisation that your home is going to turn into your Childs playground. It can be quite a shock when items that your child couldn’t reach before become fair game, from baby books in the video player to car keys in the toilet, your little angel could soon become a little terror.
Christmas is an exciting time for everyone but none more so than babies and toddles. Infants love the sparkling Christmas tree lights and decorations around the home but these extra special touches to your home can be a hazard to curious tots. With some simple safety checks and products, you can make sure the festive season is accident free.
