CategoriesArchivesWelcome to SafeTots.co.uk Blog & AdviceWelcome to the Safetots Blog where we'll aim to give tips and advice on baby and toddler safety. Please Scroll down to see the latest articles or use the navigation on the left to browse by category or use the search box to find more infomation and hints and tips about your particular topic. Most holiday destinations will have local supermarkets which will stock most of the well known brand of baby nappies; however it is a good idea to check first. Obviously you will not want to take your baby’s changing station from their nursery so a light weight, compact travel changing mat is a must.
Tips
1. If you are not absolutely sure you will be able to purchase all your essential baby changing equipment when on holiday, make sure you take ample supplies with you.
2. Pack enough wet wipes, which are not only great for changing, but also for wiping dirty hands, and for sand on the beach as well.
3. Take some disposable nappy bags so you can secure all soiled nappies until you can dispose of them.
4. A good changing bag doubles as a great beach bag.
Product Recommendations
Folds up into the size of a large wallet, and folds out into a complete changing mat, complete with handy pockets for storage of all changing essentials.
The knot it bag dispenser is a clever design enabling you to make a bag of any size. They are ideal for disposing of nappies, basic rubbish from the beach, or even a large bag for wet towels!! Stored in a light weight plastic tube no larger than a child size carton of juice.
Changing bags which include a basic changing mat, as well as ample storage space for babies essentials are a must have for days out with baby when travelling.
