Customer Collections

Our offices and warehouse are based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.  Customers are very welcome to collect orders directly from us.  Please call ahead to check stock availability and opening times (usually Monday to Friday 9:00 to 18:00).

 

Safetots Delivery Guarantee

For customers who select next working day UK Mainland Only:

If our courier service is not able to attempt delivery to you the following working day for all orders placed before 5pm (Monday to Friday), and on Tuesday for orders placed over the weekend, you can request a voucher for the value of your delivery charge (redeemable at Safetots.co.uk only) by emailing us your order number to info@safetots.co.uk.  If there has been no delivery attempt to your property for five working days after you have placed your order you can request a full refund of your delivery costs.

 

Delivery Options and Costs

Safetots aim to dispatch all items ordered before 5pm the same working day and all orders placed over the weekend on Monday before 5pm, subject to stock availability.

Depending on your delivery address, Safetots offer different delivery options.

  1.  UK Mainland Delivery
  2.  UK Highland and Islands – which are defined as Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly, all other Scottish Islands and the following  Scottish highlands post codes (IV3-IV40), (IV52-IV54) and (IV63), (KW1-KW14), (PA20-PA40), (PH19-PH40) and (PH50)
  3.  European Union
  4.  Rest of World
  5.  Failed Courier Delivery Attempts

 

UK Mainland Delivery


Delivery to UK Mainland customers is FREE for all orders over £50.00. For orders under £49.99, there are three delivery options.

1. Standard Royal Mail Delivery £2.99

For orders which weigh less than 1kg (including packaging).

Orders take 2-3 days to arrive from dispatch.

2. Next Working Day Courier Service 4.99

If your order weighs less than 1kg (including packaging) you can choose to upgrade to our Next Working Day Courier Service for an additional £2.
All orders that weigh more than 1kg (including packaging) will be sent using our Next Working Day Courier Service (Subject to stock availibility).   If your order is not dispatched within 7 working days, Safetots will refund your original postage costs on request (Not including International or Dropshipped orders).  Please note Couriers may occasionally missort or misroute a delivery which can cause a slight delivery delay.  If your order is delayed for any reason due to courier error we will put any additional details on the consignment to aid delivery, but Safetots will not refund the original delivery charge.

Please note orders placed after 3pm on Friday and before 3pm on Monday will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

3. Saturday Morning Delivery £15.00

If you would like your order to be delivered on a Saturday, you can upgrade your delivery option to our Saturday Courier Service.

 

UK Highlands and Islands  - Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly and Scottish highlands including post codes (IV3-IV40), (IV52-IV54) and (IV63).

2. One to Two Day Courier Service £14.99

If your order weighs less than 1kg (including packaging) you can choose to upgrade to our Courier Service for an additional £12.00.

All orders that weigh more than 1kg (including packaging) will be sent using our Courier Service.

3. Saturday Morning Delivery £25.00

If you would like your order to be delivered on a Saturday, you can upgrade your delivery option to our Saturday Courier Service.


European Union

Whilst Safetots will dispatch your goods by 5pm on the day of receipt of your order, delivery time will depend on the destination country and any delays due to courier service limitations and local customs formalities.

The cost for overseas delivery depends on the overall weight of the package and the destination country. Your delivery costs are calculated and shown to you as you add items to the basket on our website.  Simply type in your local post code and country destination and the delivery costs will automatically change by the weight of the items added to the basket.  Any import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods have left us must be borne by the recipient and are outside of our control.

Failed Courier Delivery Attempts

Safetots pay for two separate delivery attempts with our Courier Service.

If both attempts are unsuccessful customers must pay the courier fee of £10 for the third delivery attempt or pick up the parcel from their local depot.

If customers do not attempt to pick up the item from the depot and it is returned to the Safetots office, customers will have the £10 fee deducted from the refund, or will be charged the fee to send the item back out again.

Redirecting Deliveries

If, after an item has been dispatched, the customer requires their order to be redirected to an alternative address, other than the address originally stated on their order form, a £10 redelivery charge will have to be made to Safetots before this can be processed.  This charge also applies if a customer has accidentally entered the incorrect address for their delivery information.  If the new address is in the same area, the charge still applies, however Safetots can communicate with the couriers to allow the customer to pick up the item from their local depot.  If the customer does not pay the redirectional charge, and also refuses to pick up the item from the depot, the order will be refunded minus the £10 return to sender fee, when the item arrives back to the Safetots warehouse.

 

Leaving Items Safe and Unsigned For

 

Safetots offer the option for customers to leave additional delivery information when placing an order.  Customers are able to request a neighbour to sign for an item, or to leave an item safe around the property.  Please note the courier driver will not leave the item safe if the customer simply leaves a message on their front door for example.  The courier driver is only able to leave the item unsigned for if this has been requested by the sender.  Safetots also ask customers to note, that if an item is left safe on the customer's request and subsequently goes missing, the customer is liable for the missing item and not Safetots.
